Because of the length of the Circuit de la Sarthe, we will be using an alternate Starting Line.

Because of the length of the Circuit de la Sarthe, we will be using an alternate Starting Line.

In order to avoid performing a full length formation lap, we will use the large yellow camera lift on midsection of the Mulsanne Straight as our starting line. This camera lift is located on the right hand side, approximately half way between the Playstation and Michelin chicanes.

The cameral lift is highlighted by the green circle in the images below.

The acceleration zone, will begin shortly before the camera lift, and is designated by the gorup of road signs on the left side of the track (red square and red arrow), and the gated driveway (yellow circle) on the right side as shown in the images below.

The voting for next season's format is now open!

The voting for next season's format is now open!!
All members are asked to submit your vote on which category of cars we will race for the next season. There were many excellent suggestions made fo rthe next season, and while several members wanted something "new" or different fromt he past two seasons, several felt quite "at home" in the current format and wanted to continue. In the end, the top four most requested options have been put up for a poll. This poll will close August 15th in order to allow time to define a track schedule before the start of the next season. We are currently hoping to begin the next season in early October, allowing for our usual four week break between seasons.
So what will it be? The choices are:

IndyCar
GTE World Tour
WEC Style - Specific classes are still TBD
IMSA Style - Specific classes are still TBD

Vote NOW to make sure your voice is heard.
